Book review for
Sanctifying Grace (Resurrection Book 3) By Elizabeth Davies
This is the third and
final novel in the Resurrection series. Grace is at the end of her life,
Roman by her side. He has failed in his quest to discover how to
resurrect those humans who can be enthralled and now Grace is facing
certain death. How can Roman live without her - she has been a part of his
life for millennia, but all he can do now is to be there for her.
This book was a crazy ride. I was in tears and despair for the first half of
the book, as Grace's condition deteriorates, both body and soul. She is trying to come to terms with the fact that she is dying. Her family is also struggling with Grace's appearance as her body has become so weak and fragile.
As Grace nears her end, not telling you which end, she is still going back in time, and each time she returns to the present, she experiences mind blowing headaches and is weakened even more, which makes witnessing her journeys even harder for the reader.
However, finally coming to the end of the book, and finding out Grace's fate is well worth all the tears and heartache I went through reading the book. The not knowing whether she lives or dies, whether Roman appears to her or not in her present is pain staking! Yes, I have little patience, lol. I absolutely loved this trilogy, it was pure joy to my reading experience. Thank you Elizabeth Davies!
